Scenes from New Year's Eve

Our New Year's Eve involed Chinese food, Boston Cream Pie, sparking cider, review and watching Wicked. We also reviewed our hopes from 2024, which we achieved, which we did not and shared out hopes for the coming year and choosing our watchword. A perfect way to end the year and begin the next (though we were all sound asleep by 10:30pm). xo

The Need For Winter

Some of the hens have started laying again. A true sign that climate change is real and an important reason why we need actual winter/actual seaswons. Winter is intended to be a time of rest for all living beings, and is so important for our sweet hens as a lot of energy and effort goes into creating an egg a day. They need winter, and so do we. Winter is supposed to be a time of conserving energy/going inward. A time of rest an renewal so that when spring comes every living being is ready for the rebirth that comes with it. xo
