Day Two- Sailing, Sailing!

We woke up on Day Two (our first full day on board) to rough seas. We spent a lot of time watching the waves outside our stateroom window,.
With the girls off at the Oceaneer Club, Dave, his parents and I went to brunch at Palo.
Just a sampling of what we had.
After brunch, Dave and I explored the ship a bit more! The Disney Magic holds about 2,400 people. With ten decks there was much to explore!
Some afternoon wave watching.
Emma, dressed as Princess Anna, could not get enough of these wonderful portholes.
An Emma and Mama selfie.
I truly adore this series of pictures of Emma dancing in the hallway.
Sunset on Day Two.
In which Queen Elsa and Princess Anna explore the ship.
On a Disney Cruise you never know who you will run into in the halls!
The girls were very enchanted by the first piece of towel art left in our stateroom.
Ready for formal night.
Chatting with Grandpa Ron.
In which Queen Elsa and Princess Anna get ice cream.
The girls decided to change out of their princess dresses before dinner (to be sure they wouldn't get anything on them). Here, Emma and Grandma Joan enjoy the show at Animator's Palate on formal night. Watching Animator's Palate transform from black and white to color was a perfect ending to our first full day at sea! xo

Day One- Anchors Aweigh!

On Saturday, November 18th, we journied in to New York City to begin what we knew would be a completely incredible adventure - our (long awaited) first Disney Cruise!
NYC as seen from the GWB.
The Disney Magic in port.
Grace decorates our stateroom door with the magnets she felted.
Nothing says a Waldorf family is here like some felted magnets!
Our view as we cruised out of NYC that night.
Seeing Lady Liberty for the first time.
On our way to the tree lighting ceremony we ran into the lovely Cinderella!
Though the seas were rough as we got underway our first night on-board was absolutely magical. From being announced when we boarded the ship, to getting settled, to exploring, to a delicious lunch and dinner, and finally the tree lighting Day One was more incredible than we could have ever imagined! xo
