One Final Time

In which Grace rolls out of dance team dress rehersal one final time. xo 

Goal: Achieved!

Well done, Grace! We are so proud of you and are thrilled that your dream (and our wish for you) came true! You worked hard and grew so much as a dancer from those early days to now! It has been an absolute joy to watch you on that stage and we cannot wait to see what awaits you this year! What an absolutely fabulous goal to have achieved for your final year as a Center Stage Dancer! xo

Baby's First Solo

 

This girl I can't even! Her first solo yesterday and she was incredible on that stage! When Emma chose not to compete this year we asked Grace if she would like to do a duo with a new partner. She shared that she really loved having Emma as her duo partner and would rather do a solo than dance without her (beloved sister/best friend/duo partner). Through having Covid in January (and being out for two weeks) and her injured foot (and the restrictions she has in place) we watched this girl fght for it yesterday and she more than proved herself on that stage. She came away with a five star rating for her dance (the highest you could get is six stars) and a new found confidence that only comes from reaching the top of the mountain after a very long journey up. Well done, baby girl! We are beyond proud! xo 

At The Dance Convention

 

When the studio director/head dance team coach texts you a picture from today's dance convention telling you she's "obsessed with Grace's skirt" you know instantly what today's blogpost picture will be! xo

Finally!

Five months after they were supposed to take the stage they finally did! And while this comp was the only one able to happen (out of the three they were to attend) it was just wonderful that they were able to be up there doing what they love! Thank you Lauri for all you did to keep the girls dancing and to make this day possible! While it wasn't the season any of us expected ending it on the EDC stage today was absolute perfection! xo

With A Little Help From Her Sister

Remembering that there was a new part to Grace's dance team dance routine, and that she would need someone to help, I had Emma sit where you see her. She had no idea what was coming, and as you can see was rather surprised when Grace grabbed on to her shoulders and kicked up. I have a feeling that by the time the first competition arrives Emma will be able to fill in for any one of the girls should the need arise! xo

one of the newest members of the Center Stage dance team! Grace has been chosen to be part of the mini team this year! This is an absolutely perfect spot for her to be for her first year of competitive dancing! We are so very proud of her for auditioning, and look forward to watching her grow as a dancer even more this year! xo
