Happy Christmas!

 

We had a quiet Christmas day, just the four of us. Emma woke up not feeling great yesterday and so it was good we had planned to lay low. This was originally due to Grace only having Thursday and Friday off from school, but it turned out to be good that we had not planned to do anything that involved travel or other people with Emma not feeling well and Grace following suit after that. The times where it's just the four of us are my most favorite (and I daresay that is the case for the girls as well) and so I am always grateful when our little family gets to spend the day celebrating and being together just us. Wishing everyone who is celebrating the kind of Christmas day that brings that kind of joy! xo

Grace's much wished for "something you want" gift was pearl earrings. We bought her a beautful blush set from Brilliant Earth (we love their commitment to sustainability), 

For the last year or so, Emma has had my old Apple Watch (which Grace wore before her). Since it was on the older side we decided it was time for her to have a brand new one that was all hers. 

Wearing the gift that Emma gave her. 

Each of the girls recived one of these keychains in their stocking. It felt quite appropriate given what's coming this countries way in 2025 as well as our love of Taylor Swift (and the All Too Well ten minute version). 

Christmas morning wore them out! 

In which we have an early Christmas dinner so that Dave and the girls could hit the slops when Wachusett opened on this gorgeous bluebird sky day.
