A Fun Filled Afternoon

 

Another week of working half days means another week of fun filled afternoon adventures with my favorite girls! Today, we got pedicures and then stopped for root beer floats at The Lost Shoe before heading to the local bookstore in town! Such a fun way to spend a gorgeous (finally non-rainy) day! xo

Summer Afternoon Adventures

 

In addition to the girls being camp counselors this week and next, I am working half days (and taking the other half as vacation time) for the next two weeks too (and again for two weeks in July). Each afternoon we go on an adventure (this particular day was to Nan's Rustic Kitchen and Market for lunch). Working these half days and spending the afternoons with my favorite sidekicks is helping this making my first summer working (in nineteen years!) feel a bit more "normal" (and I have to say I really love it)! xo
