Emma's Onesie

For months now Emma has been carrying items in her onesie.  You never knows what you will find in there when you go to change her diaper or get her ready for bedtime.  Sometimes we find crayons, small dolls, pens, balls, and pieces of mail.  You name it, its most likely been in her onesie at some point.

Perhaps she was a kangaroo in a previous life.  Or maybe this is what happens as a result of the amount of time she spent in the sling or spends in the Ergo carrier.  After all, mama keeps the things that she loves closest to her (in said sling or carrier) so shouldn't she do the same?

Items that were in her onesie!

What a funny little girl!
Have a wonderful night, friends.
We'll see you tomorrow.

Outside/Inside

The skies were blue, birds were singing and we were outside playing.
The beginning of a much better week, I'd say.
Have a wonderful night, friends.
We'll see you tomorrow.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Emma Faith!

Two years ago today our beautiful Emma was born.  I am having trouble wrapping my brain around the fact that she turned two today. Where has the time gone? How is it possible she is two already? It went way to fast.

Today we celebrated this wonderful little girl and all the joy she has brought to our lives!

Birthdays in our family always start with family gifts first thing in the morning.

This is one of my most favorite pictures of the day.

Opening her gift from Grandma and Grandpa T.

Em was so excited to have receive a new Little Tykes car!
We have a Cozy Coupe and now a fire truck!

Uncle Grant gives Emma her birthday present.

Checking out the cookie set with Grandma T.

Aunt Mary, Uncle Tommy, Molly and Will
gave Emma Max & Ruby dolls.
She was thrilled!

They also gave her her first very own princess dress!

Gramma gives Emma her gift from her and Grandpa.

A train set!
The girls loved David's train set so much that my parents gave Emma as basic one of their own.

Clearly, it's a hit!

It wouldn't be a birthday without another amazing creation by Aunt Mary.

It was such a wonderful day!  Emma was so excited that it was her birthday!  She really got into it and truly loved every minute.  Thank you to everyone for making it so special for her. The gifts were perfect, the food was delicious and the cake was impressive!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Emma Faith!  We are so blessed to have you as our daughter and we look forward to all that is in store for you (and us) over the next year.  XOXO.

Sleep well, dear friends.
As always, we'll see you tomorrow.
