On The Eve Of Valentine's Day
(awaiting papa's signature).
The final Valentines were made today. Cookies have been baked and decorated to give to our most favorite guy. The snow has been played in. Peppermint Bark Hot Chocolate has been consumed. And we totally knocked it out of the park with the yummy chicken noodle soup we spent all day cooking. It was another amazing day in our sweet old farmhouse, dear friends. We are so completely blessed and grateful to get to spend each and every day together (just in case you didn't already know how much we love this life of ours, that is). We hope your Valentine's Eve was just as wonderful, and may your Valentine's Day be spent with those you hold most dear. xo

All Boxed Up And Ready To Go
A thank-you note was created and signed, cookies have been boxed (or bagged) and are now ready to be delivered to their new homes! If you ordered cookies from the girls be expecting a visit from us soon. To everyone who ordered: thank you for supporting their troop! It is greatly appreciated! xo

Baking with Grace
Yesterday while Emma napped Grace and I decided it would be fun to bake some cookies. While we did not have all the ingredients needed to bake from scratch, we did happen to have a box of peanut butter cookie mix. So, we gathered what we needed and got to work.
Her smile says it all.
Take time to enjoy the simple things, dear friends.
They really are the best.

Cookies for Breakfast
This morning we decided to make cookies for breakfast! The girls love to bake and since we had not baked in awhile it seemed like today would be a good day to get in the kitchen and create something yummy. We chose to make our favorite: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. They just felt the most "breakfasty" to me!
I don't know what I would do without our Kitchen Aid mixer!
It is such a fantastic machine.
However, this picture illustrates the sole reason why I have been coveting the Kitchen Aid 90th Anniversary Mixer. If for no other reason than it has a glass mixing bowl and the girls would be able to easily see what was being mixed. That would just be so cool!
Plus, the red color is super pretty, too!
Emma really enjoyed eating the brown sugar off our brown sugar bear!
"Oh, Wow!"
"Yummy!"
We hope that your Friday had as sweet a start to it as ours did!
Have a fabulous night, friends.
We'll see you tomorrow.
