Artists in Residence

I took these pictures a few days ago, and since today was a less than stellar day (the first in a rather long time), I thought it would be the perfect time to post them.

Here's to hoping that everyone stays healthy and that tomorrow is a better day than today was.

Sunday Fun

Today we had a jam packed day.
Some of the highlights were:

Checking out our new easel.

We "adopted" it from friends of ours who were done using it.

What a fabulous treat!

It has a white board on one side and a chalkboard on the other,

and a roll of paper in the middle!

Clearly, Em's not doing so well on that New Year's resolution of hers.

There was playing with tops.

Winding one up...

and there it goes.

There was movie watching.

And coconut cream pie making (in honor of National Pie Day).

And playing with the new soon-to-be-filled paint cups.

Even Froggy got in on the fun!

Our day ended with a delicious dinner (and our yummy pie) followed by an early bedtime for our very sweet, yet very, very tired girls.
