Holiday Show Day!

Another fabulous holiiday show in the books! The girls were fabulous (Emma even did a one handed round-off during her dance!) and money was raised for Andrew's Helpful Hands and food collected for the Hudson Food Pantry. Always a wonderful way to start the year! xo

Holiday Show Day

The last time they were on this stage for the holiday show was January 2020. Covid was barely in our vocabulary back then and masks certainly were not part of their costumes, but here we are two years later back on the stage and better than ever! Well done, girls! We are so proud of how beautifully you danced! xo

Catching Up

Gracious! I have been such a blog slacker this year! I have been meaning to "catch up" for days now and somehow it hasn't happend. Today, though, I made it one of my goals to do so before a new week began and I got even more behind.

Mostly life has been just keeping us far too busy. The girls are doing well with their lessons, I am still getting to the gym (almost daily) and the new semester started at Northeastern so Dr. Tscherne is back in action over there.

When I went to look through the pictures on my phone to see what I hadn't shared yet, I realized that mostly it was memes and inspirational quotes that were in my photos section. Below are the few pictures I have taken recently. The fist three are from the holiday show (a week ago) and the one where the girls are curling their hair is from a few days after that.
And then of course, there was this random picture of Gretchen sitting on the hot water bottle taken by one of the girls on my phone:
Such a funny kitty!

So, that's about it from here! Have a wonderful rest of the long weekend! xo

Yesterday Afternoon

 Buns in,
along with glitter covered hair (and jackets),
 and make-up on,
 can mean only one thing...
It's holiday charity show day! xo

{This Moment} Before The Show

{This Moment} - A Soule Mama Friday ritual. A single  photo - no words- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you are inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments section for all to find and see. We wish you a lovely weekend! xo

Ballerina Girls

The long awaited day of the holiday charity show finally arrived and the girls could barely contain their excitement (thankfully they were dancing in the first show so they didn't have long to wait). Hair was done (those bun donuts are just the best invention ever!), make up applied, costumes put on, bags packed and off we went. They were so excited to be back on stage today, and their smiles were evident from the moment the curtain opened. Their papa and I are so very proud of how beautifully they danced today and we cannot wait to see them back on stage for the recital in June! xo

Sunday Smiles:: Holiday Concert Day!

Blue eye shadow and red lipstick on our sweet girls (and jeans on Grace) can mean only one thing: It's a performance day! Today the girls danced in their dance school's holiday show and they did such a great job! Every class that performed danced their hearts out today making it a joy to behold! And, as an added bonus, admission to the show was a donation to Andrew's Helpful Hands or the food pantry (or both)! We love that this was a show to give back to these two amazing local organizations! What a wonderful way to kick off the new year!
