May Day is one of our most favorite holidays! I love that the girls still love it so and that  they still want to leave May Day baskets for the neighbors! Wishing you all a truly delightful May! xo 

Sunday Morning Glam

 

Morgan came to do Grace's hair since my shoulder is not up to the task yet and she ended up doing Emma's hair as well and helping Emma learn how to perfect her eye make-up skills! A perfect way to end Grace's comp season and a perfect way to get all dolled up for May Day pictures! Thanks Morgan! You are crazy taleented and we are so grateful for your knowledge and expertise! xo

Happy May Day! We just adore this sweet day and are so happy that it was such a beautiful May Day today, too! Sadly, we did not get a chance to deliver flowers as we usually do as there was just too much to do today, but we plan to do belated May Day deliveries soon! xo

Making May Day Baskets

Yesterday, just as they have done for the past seven years, the girls made and delivered May Day baskets to our neighbors and friends! This beloved tradition felt even more necessary this year with all the social distancing going on due to the pandemic. It gave us a chance to spread some happiness to those we love (and miss)! xo

Happy May Day, dear friends! If you have been reading our blog for any length of time then you already know how much we adore this lovely holiday! It's full of some of our most favorite traditions! From choosing paper and ribbon and flowers for the May Day bouquets for the girls, to making May Baskets to surprise friends and neighbors with, we just love everything about this sweet holiday! Spreading kindness and love it our favorite thing to do (along with bringing old fashioned traditions back)! I found myself wondering today if they will ever outgrow celebrating May Day. Somehow I don't think they will!
