We woke up to a gorgeous winter wonderland which called for new sleds (Radio Flyer flying saucers!) and lots of time spent outside! The hens, however, did not enjoy this type of weather nearly as much as we do! xo
{These Moments} A Friday ritual. A single photo -or four- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you are inspired to do the same leave a link to your moment in the comments section below. Wishing you a lovely weekend before Winter Solstice! xo
On this Thanksgiving Day (and always) we have so very much to be thankful for! Today we count snow among our many blessings! Many wishes from our family to yours for a most blessed and glorious day! Happy Thanksgiving, friends! xo
And just like that King Winter has arrived and brought with him all the beauty of the season! It feels strange to have snow arrive before Thanksgiving, but we love it nonetheless and are always ready to welcome its arrival whenever it should occur. The world always looks so much more beautiful and peaceful when snow covered. And really, given the current state of things in our world, beauty and peace are things that we are surely in great need of. xo
The long awaited first snow of the season arrived today! And while it didn't bring as much as we would have liked, it did bring enough to do some sledding in! The girls were over the moon and only came in due to it being time to head to Emma's dance class. Thank you snow fairies for making their wish for snow come true!
While we did not get nearly as much snow as we would have liked, we did wake up to a gorgeous light blanket of it covering our world! No sooner was breakfast done than choruses of "Please can we play in the snow, mama?!" began. Boots were acquired (what would we do without Target?!), snow clothes put on, sleds taken out of storage and winter was (un)officially welcomed in.
