The final weeks of our flower share are bringing mostly Zinnias which is totally fine with us! xo

There is no doubt in my mind that some day she will own many acres of land and that those many acres of land will be covered with copious amounts of flowers. If truth be known, her papa and I will be very surprised if that isn't the case. xo

Among The Flowers

Yesterday was a gorgeous day to be in the fields at Hanson's Farm picking flowers for our flower share. Twenty stems each week initially always sounds like enough, but when you are in the fields looking at all the gorgeous flowers all of a sudden twenty stems often feels like too few! xo 

A Summer Bouquet

We are so happy to once again be part of a flower CSA. Getting to have fresh flowers in the house (twenty stems a week for the twenty week CSA season, nonetheless) really is such a lovely treat! xo

Last Of The Season

On Sunday, the farm where we have our CSA has it's final event of the season.  We all gathered for s'mores and cider and good conversation around the fire.  The girls explored (a little bit of) the corn maze.  Once we were all sufficently full of s'mores we headed home for dinner!  Nothing like a s'more appetizer to kick off a yummy meal!

CSA Strawberry Social

Today we went to the farm where we have our CSA (which stands for Community Supported Agriculture for those who are not familiar with the term).  We have had a farm share at Hanson's Farm since they started their CSA three years ago. It has been such a wonderful experience and each year when CSA season ends we cannot wait until the next season begins!  We were thrilled to head back today for the strawberry social and to hear about all the wonderful goodies that await us this year!
