#homeschoolproblems

When you are working on your geology block (final one of the lesson year!) and you're trying to build the layers of the earth in Legos and you can't find any small brown pieces. xo

And that's a wrap on the 2019 comp season! So incredibly proud of the entire team and cannot wait for next season to begin! xo

{This Moment} Last Saturday At Tower Hill

{This Moment} A Friday ritual. A single photo (or nine!) capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. Wishing you a lovely and peaceful weekend! xo

After Church On Easter Sunday

As soon as we returned home from church it was time to see what was in their Easter baskets! It's always fun to to put these together each year and to see their reaction to each item in it! They were particularly excited for the tiny kites, the perfume and the small bunnies! xo

On Easter Sunday Morning

Our Easter Sunday began at church (as all our Easter Sunday's do)!
My dear friend Susan and I looked so cute in our coordinated (and unplanned) outfits we had to make sure to get a picture!
Flowering the new cross (that Dave made) prior to worship beginning.
The guys moved it up and turned it around for the big reveal once worship started!
Absolutely gorgeous! Such a beloved tradition!
 Some post-worship flowering.
 Oops, we blocked the cross!
Our traditional Easter family picture! This one may be my favorite one yet!
A perfect start to our Easter Sunday! There's nowhere else we'd rather be! xo

At The Worcester Art Museum

Yesterday was our  first trip to the Worcester Art Museum, and we had a total blast! We wrapped up not one, not to, but four blocks (Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece and the Middle Ages) during this trip! It was so neat to be able to get up close to so many incredible artifacts from those time periods. Our only disappointment is that the Higgins armory collection is very small (compared to when it was housed in it's own, incredible building). If the Higgins Armory Museum was still around (and we really wish it was!) that would have been the perfect place to wrap up Grace's Middle Ages block. Alas, that's no longer the case but the items at WAM did just fine too. xo
