Twenty Five Years Ago...

 Twenty-five years. A quarter of a century and the gorgeous color of the sky that day is still so incredibly vivid in my mind. I'm not sure that color has been seen again, but it is captured so perfectly in this picture..

As I drove to The New England Center for Children that morning I remember thinking that if the sky was any indication we were in for a wonderful day. Little did I know how wrong I would turn out to be...

Happy Back to School Eve!

 

Happy Back to School Eve! My classroom is ready for my students in first through fourth grade to arrive tomorrow (my two kindergarteners start next week)! Thank you so much to everyone who donated books and supplies to make it the beautiful and welcoming space you see in these pictures! It means so much to me to have my classroom outfitted with things from so many people that I hold so dear! Please send my staff (I have six teaching assistants!) and I some good energy tomorrow as we welcome the students into this space and begin the 2026-2027 school year!

Scenes from this week/my classroom so far. Two days of PD next week (Monday and Tuesday) and then the children begin on Wednesday. So excited to meet them and begin this new school year! xo
