You must be so proud that she is sewing on her own! Have a beautiful weekend making art together : )

Love it! I almost posted a similar photo of my little man. Looks like both our kiddos have been busy on the machine this week :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend my friend. xo
Good for her! Look how diligent she is. You must be one proud Mum. Learning the sewing machine young is such a handy skill. Be well.
ReplyDeleteI'll say it again, just wonderful to be able to share your passions this way! I hope my little ones are curious about it when they are older. :-)
ReplyDeleteHere is our moment if you feel like stopping by!
It's been a heavy and intense week here, but happy amazing moments are always there to remind us that life is GOOD! http://familyfaithfoodfabric.wordpress.com/2014/04/11/this-moment-11/
Have a great week-end!
Oh how sweet! Starting early... how wonderful!

A lovely moment! I can imagine how pleased she was. My little ones love sewing too. What is she making?
ReplyDeleteI think sewing is so great for kids. In fact, it is one of the few practical areas where topology (math!) is applied: What is inside, what is outside? Where do I leave the opening so that I can still turn the pillowcase (or whatever) inside out? Yes, I'm a total dork, why do you ask? LOL.

ReplyDeleteI only just realized this after reading about your journey to homeschooling: We're another Drumlin preschool family! We didn't overlap, we started there in 2012 in the Foxes class. I love your story and knowing that there are others like us living near us.... sometimes it doesn't feel that way. We don't homeschool (pesky husband isn't interested...) but I constantly wish I was... Anyway, just saying Hi one more time :-)
I love sewing with my eldest daughter! This is such a fabulous moment.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely weekend.
xoxo
What a tiny sewer!
