Emma turned eleven yesterday (which I cannot even believe) and we spent the day celebrating her and doing all the things she loves best! The day began with gifts for the birthday girl.
First up: the gift Grace made her.
Grace spent about two weeks working on this Hedwig for Emma.
It was a design of her creation and I dare say it came out perfectly!
Clearly, Emma agrees!
We had a feeling that she'd love this card!
Harry Potter stickers.
It wouldn't be a birthday celebration without something to read.
Yet another gorgeous book from one of our most favorite author/illustrators.
Something to wear.
Emma has been wishing and hoping for this sweet elf doll for about a year now. We loved being able to make this wish come true yesterday!
Emma's Greta and Grace's Adalaide make a perfect pair of elf sisters (just like Grace and Emma do)!
We then took our celebration to The Queen's Cups.
Emma chose the Candy Shop cupcake.
And Grace chose the hot fudge sundae one.
And we all shared the Nutella filled chocolate chip cookie (that had just come out of the oven)!
The golden snitch was an instant fave! My dad never ceases to amaze!

After our "tiny snack" Emma asked if we could go to Old Sturbridge Village. And since we were practically there already how could we not?!
After some sledding and a trip to the book store (where Emma spent some of the birthday money my brother gave her) we headed home.
We closed out her birthday day with the birthday ring, of course! The golden snitch was an instant fave! My dad never ceases to amaze!
What a perfect day for our sweet youngest girl. We cannot wait to see what this next trip around the sun brings her way! If it's any like the last eleven, it's bound to be amazing! xo
