Emma's birthday in February was fabulous but given that Covid numbers were high and she had a winter birthday we decided to hold off on a gathering with her friends until her half birthday in August. If nothing else, we figured it would be easier to be outside in the summer! And so, on Friday, we held our first ever sleepover here. We chose to keep it small, inviting four of her closest friends. Two joined us for the overnight and the other two joined us for breakfast today (her actual half birthday).
Emma put together "spa night kits" for her friends. In them she put the nail polish you see in front, a washcloth a face mask, toe separators for pedicures, and one of the beautiful cookies you see below!
My dear friend Sade made these gorgeous cookies for Emma's party! Aren't those s'mores the cutest thing you've ever seen?!
A delicious waffle breakfast was the cherry on top of the sunade of Emma's half birthday! She has some of the sweetest friends and I am so glad that we waited for the first sleepover until now! It was absolutely fabulous and the perfect way to celebrate our sweet girl! xo
