Open Farm Day and One Final Bouquet

A couple of weeks ago we attended the open house that Small Farm held. It was an absolutely gorgeous October day. A perfect one to be at the farm. They had activities for families to do, things to purchase and a scavenger hunt which took you on a bit of an exploration around the grounds. It was wonderful! xo

A Caring Community

This year was our first year being part of the flower CSA at Small Farm. We have absolutely loved our weekly trips to pick up each of the gorgeous bouquets that were made each week. Small Farm is such a sweet community and we are grateful to be a part of it!

With November 1st right around the corner and many people on SNAP wondering how they are going to make ends meet I was wondering how we could help support them and was thrilled to see that Small Farm had come up with a way to do just that! If you are looking for a way to help those families who access SNAP I hope you will consider purchasing one week of the fall veggie share, which will in turn allow those families to continue to access the food that is available in the farm stand at Small Farm. Please donate as you are able. xo

On Pumpkin Day

What a perfect way to spend National Pumpkin Day (and that was totally not planned, BTW!)! And yes, that is six year old Grace in the first picture. ðŸ¥° xo

Scenes From Saturday's Protests

We started our day with the No Kings Rally in Hudson. Grace had to work at the studio so it was just Emma and I. We ended our time there driving through the rotary with Trump is on the Epstein List blasting from the car. The crowd loved it!

Next up was the Marlborough rally!

After that we headed home for a bit before heading to the final rally of the day in Framingham. This time it was just me and Grace.
Three rallies in one day was pretty badass! As were the posters we held. The week was such that we did not have the time to create our own, so instead we chose to use protest posters that local artists/small business had created and shared for this very purpose. The two the girls held were courtesy of Karen Hallion  and mine was from the Foolery Co.   We left No Kings Day feeling hopeful and optimistic! Seeing those standing up for all that America is supposed to stand for was just what our weary souls needed! Thank you to all who organized! xo
