From Gramma Terri And Grandpa Gene

Looking through my phone tonight I realized I hadn't yet shared these pictures from Christmas. My parents gave the girls some new items for their fairy houses but the girls decided to use them in their Calico Critters dollhouse instead!
They had a few other items from the gift and decided that they would put them in the fairy garden that currently lives in the master bedroom. They look so sweet in there!
Many thanks to my parents for the wonderful new additions to their fairy house collection! xo

Last Friday Night

Looking through the pictures on my phone tonight I realized I never shared these from last Friday night. Dave's sister had sent the girls gifts for Christmas, and rather than having them open them on Christmas morning we decided that we'd give them to them Friday night (as the weekend before Christmas is traditionally a very busy one for Dave at Williams-Sonoma). The girls were super surprised to be opening a gift on Friday night, and even more surprised to see what they contained! Emma was thrilled to have mama and papa mouse join the mouse family, and Grace was so excited to be gifted the cat and mouse ballerina set. She decided to name the cat, Caterina, and the mouse, Anastasia. My apologies that there are no pictures of the girls opening their gifts, but we decided to record video to send to Donna and the pictures I took while taking the video were very grainy. Thank you, Donna, Peter and Henry for the wonderful gifts for the girls. They will be cherished for many years (and perhaps decades and generations) to come!  xo

Solstice Gifts From Friends

Yesterday we received a package in the mail from our dear friends Patricia and Alice! It was such a lovely treat, and the girls couldn't wait to see what Alice had sent them! They were so surprised to discover Peter Rabbit necklaces! This was completely fitting since Patricia and Alice recommended the movie Miss Potter to us (if you haven't seen it you must! It's wonderful!)!

Thank you, Patricia and Alice, for such wonderful gifts! We are so blessed and grateful for your friendship, and look forward to many more adventures together in 2016! xo
