Happy Father's Day!

Dave sporting his tradition Father's Day gift- a brand new Red Sox hat!
Happy Father's Day to an incredible man, a fantastic husband and an amazing dad! The girls and I are so truly grateful for all that you do to make this incredible life of ours possible. We absolutely love that you are the blue in our house of pink! Thank you, Dave, for being my ride or die. I couldn't imagine going on this parenting journey without you! xoxoxo

Recital Day!

Another incredible year of dance and another fabulous recital day has come to an end. We couldn't be more proud of our girls and their friends for how hard they worked and how beautifully they danced! Miss Lauri never ceases to amaze us with the incredible routines she comes up with, and all the girls never cease to amaze us with how beautifully they dance them! Thank you for another stellar year of dance, Lauri! You, Cindy and the entire staff of Center Stage are simply the best! xo

{This Moment} Crossing The Bridge

{This Moment} - A Friday ritual. A single  photo  - no words*- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you are inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments section for all to find and see. To all of the wonderful papas of the world: we wish you a wonderful Father's Day weekend!  xo

*A little note: this picture was actually taken a week ago when the girls and I were in Hartford. We had stopped by the University of Hartford (where Dave and I met and graduated from) and I gave the girls a tour of the campus. This picture of them crossing the bridge was an instant favorite of mine, and evidently it resonated with the alumni office as well, as they shared it on their Instagram and Facebook pages this past week, too. xo

Tuesday At The Museum Of Science

A day off for Dave on Tuesday made for the perfect day for a family adventure at the Museum of Science. We had been given free passes to the exhibit halls, the IMAX and the planetarium that were set to expire at the end of July so we figured that this past Tuesday was the perfect time to finally use them! While we still have yet to use the planetarium passes it was lovely to have our admission to the exhibit halls and IMAX covered (we saw a wonderful movie on humpback whales). It had been awhile since our last visit to the Museum of Science and I have to admit it was lovely to come back and see some new areas/exhibits. We're hoping to get back before the planetarium passes expire and in time to see the Pixar exhibit that arrives later this month, too. It was a lovely way to spend a Tuesday and I am so very glad that David was able to join us for this adventure, too! xo

****It's not often that I do two blogposts in one day but when I do it's because there's simply so much blog worthy goodness to share! I do hope you'll scroll down and check out the other post from earlier today!*****

This Afternoon

A no longer needed bedskirt from Gramma equaled hours of fun in the backyard this afternoon building and playing in a tent for the girls. xo

Recital Rehearsal

Tap: "It's a Hard Knock Life" (from the new Annie movie).
 Ballet: "Shine" (from Tinkerbell).
Jazz:"Everything is Awesome!" (from the Lego Movie).

The final rehearsal has taken place and all that's left now is to wait for recital day to arrive! It's been an amazing year of dance for the girls, and we cannot wait to see them perform on Saturday! xo
