  6. My goodness - a child with a microplane grater? I'll need to take at least a few deep breaths before I'm ready to teach Peanut how to use it. But the moment is coming. He wants to grate his own cheese every time we have pasta.

    We shared our thanksgiving with 27 friends here in the Netherlands. It was superb.

    1. I think what helps the first time you let them use it is to have a) something to balance it on and b) a really big object that they can grasp and not quickly grate (so the orange or a very big hunk of cheese)! :)

      27 people at Thanksgiving sounds fab! I bet you had full bellies *and* full hearts!
