It's like this dress was made with her in mind! The color, the beadwork, the style were all so perfectly Grace. And this gorgeous corsage was the cherry on top of the sundae for sure! When she and her friends decided they wanted corsages I knew that she needed something other than the standard rose corsage. All my searching kept turning up only that style and then I happened upon Pepper and Fern Floarl Design. Nikki's website was giving the vibe we were looking for, and I was thrilled when she said she would be able to make Grace's corsage and that she had the most perfect peachy pink shade of rannunculus that would look amazing with her dress (she was not wrong)! Dave picked up her corsage (and one for Grace's friend Shea as a thank you for inviting her to join them at the prom) this morning and we were in awe from the moment we took them out of the bag. Nikki has a true talent and we will indeed be customers for as long as she is in business!
Since Parker has such a small graduating class (like 30 students), the junior and senior prom is held together. All of the juniors, seniors, their guests and families met at this gorgeous spot (conservation land in Groton) for pictures before heading to the venue. What a beautiful night for a prom!
Possibly the best thing to come out of the two years the girls were at Parker are the friends Grace made. They are the kind of friends that I have no doubt will remain connected to each other for the rest of their lives. I love that they have continued to include her even thogh she returned to homeschooling It was amazing to see them all together tonight and I cannot wait to hear all her stories when she gets home! xo
