The day began with our family valentine exchange.
We gave the girls their valentines first.
Emma wasted no time unwrapping the chocolate hearts.
Then the girls checked out the valentine pails that Gramma left for them
the last time she was here.
Handmade valentines for Daddy were next.
"Here you go!"
Heart shaped cinnamon toast!
Does it get any more fun (or delicious)?!
The girls and I headed to church.
David stayed behind to finish grading papers for the class he team teaches at Northeastern University.
After we returned home, we changed, had lunch and then headed to
(the town, not the school) for Winter Fest.
I am so ready to move there!
They had sleds to use on the hills, but also for use on the rink.
What fun!
These people are made out of trees.
Amazing!
We were excited to get to see this exhibit up close.
We had seen them on TV, but to see them in person is so much more impressive!
Emma did not want to leave.
Like Father, Like Daughter.
We had a fabulous Valentine's Day!
We got to spend time together and make some wonderful new memories.
Is there anything better?
We hope that each of you had a wonderful day, and that you take the time, not only today but everyday, to ask the ones you love to "be your valentine".
Happy Valentine's Day, sweet friends!
We'll see you tomorrow.
You always find the most special places to go see and make your days together even more special... Seems like a cool destination to visit during the next three seasons as well.
ReplyDeleteWe must take you and Daddy with us sometime! You two would love it there!
