Mantra

In this world where there is currently so much uncertainty, a message like this is like a healing balm and a good reminder of what is truly important. Of what truly matters.  It has completely and totally encompassed "what I know for sure", and has said everything that we totally believe in in a much more eloquent way than I ever could.  As soon as I saw this on my friend Kelly's Facebook page this afternoon, I knew that this was one of those pictures that I wanted to keep forever, but also one that I wanted to share with my friends and family (and blog readers).  While I have absolutely no idea who the original photographer or creator of this wonderful message is, it is one that I believe we can all benefit from reading (again and again) and keeping in mind.  It also speaks to why David and I live the way we do and why we have chosen to homeschool the girls (something that I will post about in greater detail next month).  It's about embracing life, finding your passion, learning from the world around you and most of all simply being happy.  Perhapse if everyone focused more on being happy than on anything else we could truly change the world.

  2. Me too! I made it the wallpaper on our computer and as we were falling asleep last night Dave says to me: "The picture on the computer is great!" :)
