There is much excitement in our house today! Our Christmas elf has arrived! Last night, before bed, the girls recieved a letter from Winter. While they were sad that Skippy would not be playing hide and seek with them this year, they were super excited to meet Winter and get to know her. They kept saying things like: "I didn't know Skippy had a sister, mama!" and "Winter left us a note!" and "Where do you think she will be hiding?" and "Where's Winter's mother?" This is the third year that we have had a Christmas elf, and while some people use it as a behavior modification technique, we have always just used it as a simple game of hide and seek. After all, anything that is about experiencing joy and sharing love is totally up our alley!
