A Sciency Sunday

On Sunday (before I started feeling crummy) we headed to the EcoTarium.  Dave and I had been there probably nine years ago and had not been back since.  We thought that it would be a good time to head back and see if it had changed at all (it really hadn't), and as an added bonus our membership to the Boston Children's Museum also gets us in for free to the EcoTarium (and roughly 300+ other children's museums and science centers) so we felt like we couldn't go wrong!
Learning about vibrations.
"Hi, Turtle."
David explained to Grace about the rings in the trees showing how many birthdays the tree has had.
AfterI took this picture, Grace called me over and said: "Mama, these rings are how many birthdays I've had."  Well, she's almost got it!
It was a good way to spend a couple hours in the afternoon.  The girls had a good time exploring all the different things, and it was lovely that our membership to the BCM was able to get us in for free.  Dave and I were surprised that it had not changed all that much in the time since he and I were there last.  Not sure how soon it will be before we will go back again, maybe sometime late spring to check out the polar bear and ride the train that they have.
