Adding Some Sparkle

I'm pretty sure there's not a craft project this kid doesn't instantly love! My jacket had lost a few crystals along the way so I picked some up from Michael's tonight and let Grace try her hand at re-blinging my jacket (which was originally crystaled by the very talented Krystle from Bikini Bling by Krystle)! It's safe to say that if Krystle ever needs an apprentice we have the girl for her! xo

{This Moment} Thanksgiving At OSV

Home is where the heart is,
So let the heart beat strong,
May everyone who enters here,
Rest in knowing they belong.

May the sound of joyful laughter,
Echo sweetly through each room.
From the moment sunrise floods the earth,
To the rising of the moon.

Then in the quiet moments,
Of each evening may you hear,
The whispers of the angels,
Singing sweetly in your ear.
-Traditional Waldorf

Hoping that  each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday and that your last weekend of November is lovely! xo

Doughnut Fractions

I'm pretty sure that if someone taught me fractions with doughnuts I would have mastered them much sooner than when I did (at thirty years old)! xo

In Celebration Of Martinmas

This year we kept our lantern walk small- just our family. Lanterns were lit, a Martinmas story was read and then we headed out bringing our light into the darkness. As we walked we sang and when we were done we headed back in for molasses cookies and spiced cider. No matter if it's just the four of us or a much larger group, it's always such a sweet and simple celebration and one that we look forward to each year. xo
