The chair found a new home in Emma's room when the tree was in this spot and has remained there since. Rather than bring it down, we put the gifts in its spot and Emma decided that she'd rather open them from her cozy spot on the couch.
Birthday girl.
Gifts from Grace. Lip balm and
a book she had been wanting.
It contains the artwork of a game that both Grace and Emma play.
Next up, something sweet, or maybe we should say something spicy (kinda like our girl Emma),
in the form of black licorice (from Sweden).
Emma loves black jellybeans and black licorice so we went in search of somethign that felt a little more festive in honor of her birthday!

You'll see it better in the next picture. 😊

Later that day, the girls picked up Lucy and visited with Mandy (who was unable to come as she is home recovering from surgery). They then returned to the house for a small birthday celebration of ramen, make-overs and watching Dream Academy (again for my girls, the first time for Lucy).
Our girl chose cupckaes this year, and they brought two to Mandy (hence why there are only ten here) along with some make-over items for her. It was a perfectly perfect day for Miss Emma Faith. Full of all the people and things she loves best in this world. Looking forward to seeing what this next trip around the sun has in store for her! xo
