So This Happened....

Today, while attending the Founders Day event put on by the Delta Gamma chapter at Brown Univeristy (where I serve as their Advisory Team Chair, essentially their lead advisor), I was awarded the Hope Award. The Hope Award is one of seven awards that can be bestowed upon an indivudual siseter. These awards take a fair amount of preparation for those who are nominating the sister and are trypicaly given during Founders Day celebrations. They are often a suprise for the person reciving it (which was absolutely the case for me)! Along with the award and floewrs (shown here) I was given a book containing all the letters that were part of the nomination pacakage, along with heartfelt notes from some of the sisters at Brown who have served as officers for the chapter. In addition to several of the members of the advisory team that I lead being in attendance today, Grace and Emma were there as well, which made it even more special. It was truly a Founders Day that I will never forget! xo

Weekending

Friday night was the dance team dress rehersal. Costumes were steamed and ready to go. It was great to see everyone on stage! Looking forward to the first comeptition at the end of the month!
On Saturday, the girls were back at the mountain (but this time for their usually weekly role as ski instructors), Dave was working and that left me to dig in and do some work on my disseration. Here's to hoping that I can get it all done by the end of 2024!
And finally, on Sunday, we gathered with the Delta Gamma chapter at Brown to celebrate Founder's Day. The chapter did a fabulous job, and I loved that they invited Grace and Emma to attend as well! So special to have all of my daughters (all 68 of them!) together! xo
