{This Moment} The Cookies Are Here!
{This Moment} A weekend ritual. A single photo -no some words- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you are inspired to do the same leave a link to you moment in the comments section below. Wishing you all a lovely first weekend of February! xo
This picture will appear on the thank-you note that will be included in each bag of cookies that's delivered.
Thank you to those who ordered! xo

The Cookies Are Here!
Our dinning room table earlier today filled with the troop cookies.
Each year we take a picture of the girls and all the cookies they sold and use it on the thank-you note that we include with order. Many thanks to everyone who supported the girls and their troop! We'll be getting your cookies to you over the next few days! xo

Cookie Booth
A few little glimpses of what we were doing while Dave and his dad assembled the telescope this past Saturday. Nothing like a cookie booth inside a hardware store on a chilly January Saturday afternoon! xo

{This Moment}
{This Moment} - A Soule Mama Friday ritual. A single photo- no words- capturing a moment from the
week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor
and remember. If you are inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment'
in the comments section for all to find and see. For those of you who -like us- are in the path of the massive, potentially record setting snowstorm we send lots of good vibes your way for a fun-filled time and an easy dig out.

The Cookies Are Here!
A great big "thank you" to everyone who ordered cookies from the girls! They arrived yesterday and we sorted the boxes today. Grace suggested that we organize the boxes based on the order of the colors of the rainbow. Emma- not missing a beat- dug right in and within thirty minutes they had sorted nine cases of cookies (they are amazing workers these two)! Next up: creating a thank you note to include with each person's order and bagging them. Good thing there's a large amount of snow on its way to us starting Friday. We'll surely be able to get those two items on our to-do list completed and be able to start delivering them next week.

Things I Absolutely Love
I absolutely love Valentine's Day. I know that there are many people who say it's a Hallmark holiday but for me Valentine's Day is just pink and red and sweet and lovely. It's a time to put a just little more love out into the world. Plus, our house looks super sweet with hearts on each window and the festive table cloth on the kitchen table!
I absolutely love walking into various rooms and discovering where Emma's babies are tucked in that day. Today our room was the room of choice.
I absolutely love that Emma did all this on her own. From the gathering of materials, to tracing her hand to the gluing. I absolutely love that the girls can now get to all these wonderful craft materials anytime the desire to create strikes them. And yes, hand turkeys are always in season.
I absolutely love that the cookie delivery today turned into an impromptu play date and chat with friends.
I absolutely love the new Valentine mailboxes we bought at Target today. I love that they are bigger than the ones we've had before and that the door is hinged. I love how much the girls love this sweet little tradition that we started all those years ago. I love how excited they get each day when they check to see what's been left in their mailboxes. But most of all, what I absolutely love, is that I get to leave each girl a sweet little love note (and maybe a little something sweet with it too).
I absolutely love how much love Dave has poured into this dollhouse. Each shingle that is painstakingly placed gets it one step closer to being finished. I love that he's creating a family heirloom, one that I hope is treasured and loved for generations to come.
**********
What I absolutely love the most is this incredible life and the amazing family that I get to share this journey with. And that, my friends, really is the best Valentine of them all!
