So Much Goodness

A beautiful day turned into a gorgeous evening meant that a gathering with friends for some s'mores in the backyard was required. Good conversation, yummy treats (Ghirdarelli chocolate takes s'mores to a whole other level), lots of chatting for the mamas and papas and lots and lots of playing for the littles. So much goodness and the most perfect ending to a lovely Saturday. xo

S'mores

For my birthday Dave and the girls and my parents and his parents all chipped in and gave me a lovely fire pit.  We had been batting the idea of one around since Kaitlyn and Eric first mentioned it and then after I fell in love with this one it seemed like it was going to be a reality sooner than later.  I never would have guessed it would have been my birthday gift!  So, after a lovely dinner of grilled chicken and salad last night we got a fire going in the cauldron and roasted marshmallows for s'mores!
