{This Moment} Grandpa Gene And His Girls
{This Moment} A Friday ritual. A single photo -no words- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you are inspired to do the same leave a link to your moment in the comments section below. Wishing you a lovely weekend, and for those who celebrate a blessed Palm Sunday. xo

On Saint Patricks' Day
In which the girls don tiny, festive hats to make Irish Soda Bread this morning.
Nature table decorations, complete with rainbow scene felted by Grace.
This is seriously the most scrumptious Irish Soda Bread ever (recipe courtesy of my dear friend Kristin)!
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world,
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons,
bring the best to your and yours!
Happy Saint Patrick's Day from our family to yours! xo

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And, until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
-Traditional Irish Blessing
Whether you're Irish or not we hope that your Saint Patrick's day is full of blessings! xo

On Saint Patrick's Day
Our morning began with a little Irish Soda Bread making.
Thanks to my friend Kristin for this delicious recipe!
And, thanks to Activity Village UK we did some fun Saint Patrick's Day stuff! That website has some really great crafts and activities. It became an instant fave.
I just love that the Irish saint was given to us by our friend the Greek priest! And I love that the girls decided to use this as their reference when they were coloring their pictures of him. Thanks, Father Greg!
Finding Ireland, of course.
Irish music on Pandora, Irish Soda Bread in our tummies and Irish pictures on our fridge! Such a lovely start to the week and a wonderful way to spend Saint Patrick's Day. Happy Saint Patrick's Day, friends! xo
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
