I never thought I would see the day where we would be frying our Thanksgiving turkey but that is exactly what we did this Thanksgiving, and I think it's safe to say that it was so delicious that we will be frying our turkey for years to come! We were all a little skeptical of what we were getting into (even though anyone who had fried a turkey previously had told us it was amazing) but once we all took that first bite there was no going back. We easily could have fried an even bigger turkey, though I suspect that even if we had we still would have been left with very few turkey leftovers (we have tons of side dish leftovers, still). So, our usually traditional New England Thanksgiving had a lovely southern spin on it, and probably will for years to come (or whenever the weather is as lovely as this past Thanksgivings was)!
It is so yummy! Honestly, I truly did not expect it to be that good, and really wish we had fried a bigger one! :) It was the most perfect New England day, we couldn't have asked for better weather! Love the pictures from your holiday too!
