Our First Fairy Garden

Last Thursday, we gathered the needed supplies to make our first fairy garden!  While we have made many a fairy house in our time we have never before made a fairy garden! With the lovely weather of last week, and the fact that we had inherited some beautiful pansies from the beloved Miss Emily it seemed like the perfect time to put our first one together!
Emma got to digging while Grace went to go look for materials for her fairy garden.
And while our fairy gardens might not be super elborate this year they are indeed super sweet and totally reflective of the two souls who put them together!  I cannot wait to see what fairy gardens they create in the future!  And, as an added bonus, one of the things that Grace needs to do for Daisy Scouts is take care of her own mini-garden. I love that this sweet project fills that requirement.  There is a watering can badge in her future! To see more fairy gardens and enter the contest, head over to The Magic Onions!

  2. They are delightful!!! I love the little twig houses. But what I love the most, is the magic I see on the faces of your girls as they are creating them... That's magic!

    1. Thanks, Jacinta! I have a feeling the fairies are very grateful! The girls get so excited each time they walk by and the little dishes of water are empty! "Mama! A fairy came and drank our water!" So sweet!
