Another Visit From The Tooth Fairy

She woke up covered in glitter and discovered yet another note and gift from the tooth fairy. A perfect way to kick off a new week and a new month! This time the note was handwritten (clearly the tooth fairy's printer has run out of ink) and the gift was a sweet little bracelet. There's two more wiggly teeth making their presence known so I imagine visits number seven and eight aren't too far off. xo

  1. Oh, Julia is so anxious for a visit from the Tooth Fairy! But as yet we have not a wiggle in sight...
(I love that your Tooth Fairy gives little gifts rather than money, too. Ours left Asher a chestnut last year - he found a little stone that looked like a tooth and *insisted* it had come from his mouth, so we had him put it under his pillow and see what happened - and that was a big hit. I've never known anyone else who did that, though.) xo

    1. I am sure she is! I remember when Grace was first told she had a wiggly tooth (after a visit to the dentist). It did feel like an eternity before it finally fell out! Emma has two wiggly teeth but I think there's still a way to go before either (or both!) fall out.

Little gifts for teeth just seemed more fairy like to us, plus, Grace really doesn't want the fairy to take her teeth so that whole "paying for the teeth" thing really makes no sense when the tooth isn't being removed from it's place. She had a *really* hard time the first night the tooth fairy was to come and so she put it out into the universe "please tooth fairy, please leave my tooth for me to keep." The tooth fairy was happy to grant that request and has left each one for Grace to keep ever since that first request.

The first tooth gift was a special fairy dust necklace but after that everything has been little things that a fairy may happen upon in her travels. It makes it fun to come up with what to leave next! When Grace lost her front teeth (the ones on the top) the fairy left a gold Sacajawea coin, which is the only time that money has (or will be) left. The gold coin was just too enchanting to pass up!

And glitter! So much glitter is sprinkled on Grace and her bed that she wakes up covered in it and beaming each time. The last few times that fairy has sprinkled Emma too which she just loves!

The tooth fairy really is one of my most favorite things, which is really funny 'cause Santa and the Easter Bunny are pretty much not key players (like at all) here in our house. The tooth fairy though is a different story! I don't know why that is. Maybe it's because she's a fairy (and we really like fairies and gnomes here) or maybe it's just the sweetness of a fairy visiting in the night. Whatever it is, I just know that ya'll will love this time too! xo

  2. Awww! She looks so adorable. She must have been so happy waking up and finding she was visited by the tooth fairy. Hahaha! It’s a nice thing that you did not use money and made little trinkets instead. I think that’s a better thing to do. :D
