This week the girls are all about puzzles. If you were to come over you'd see puzzles on the floor in just about every room on the first floor (as well as on our dinning room table). Emma decreed Monday "puzzle day" and funny enough when Dave got home that evening he said (without missing a beat): "Ah, I see it was puzzle day today." Poor guy never knows what to expect when he gets home! Such is the life of a homeschoolin' family!
Emma started the fairy puzzle when Grace was at dance class. After class Grace did a little bit too.
And they worked on it together too.
Before long they had completed their first 100 piece puzzle! Well done team!
So, from here on out I think we'll have a "puzzle in progress" set up somewhere. They loved being able to do a little when the spirit moved them and it was fun to be able to put pieces in along the way too. I don't believe that Dave got to help with this one as they had it completed pretty quickly (the day after Emma started it for those wondering).
What an adorable puzzle! We just LOVE Ravensburger puzzles! There really is no competition in quality.
ReplyDeleteThanks! And yes, I totally agree, Ravensburger puzzles are the best!
DeleteWe are a puzzle loving family here...well at least Reece and I are :)

DeleteOur oldest LOVES to do puzzles also. Not quite to the 100 piece though but she is getting there. I found a bunch at a garage sale so it was great to get some at a good prices Puzzles can get dang expensive!
ReplyDeleteWe had a puzzle in progress during our couples weekend getaway. It was so cute to see grown-ups get so into putting a puzzle together!
Yay for garage sale finds! Puzzles surely can get expensive! Epecially these gorgeous Ravensburger ones!
DeleteThanks for the recommendation on White Mountain Puzzles, Rose! I'll surely check those out!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I think little tables just for puzzles are in our future too! xo
