Let's Go Fly A Kite
Yesterday we met up at Elm Bank with a group of Waldorf homeschoolers that we get together with every now and then. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and we were happy to spend pretty much all of it outside. The hill that we were gathered on was a lovely, shady spot and perfect for rolling down, exploring and flying kites! The kids, with help from the mamas as needed, would stand about half way up the hill, hold the kite up, get a running start and off the kite would fly! It was quite a sight to behold as each of the kids found success when it came to kite flying yesterday! And seriously, could this gnome kite be any cuter?! xo

This looks so fun! I will have to bring up a kite day to our homeschool group! what a beautiful day. We have yet to fly kites with the girls but we need to soon :)
ReplyDeleteThis kite was truly amazing! I'm pretty sure that we'll be giving this to Grace for her birthday! I've never seen a kite fly with that much ease (and yes the wind surely helped)! Even the littlest among us was able to fly it! I bet your girls would love a kite like this too! xo
