Lego Americana

Yesterday the girls and I went to the Natick Mall to check out the Lego Americana Roadshow. And while these pictures are incredible the pieces are even more impressive in person! The hours spent and the attention to detail are all beyond compare.
"Mama, look! He's in there!"- Emma
I just adore this picture of the girls standing in awe of the Washington Monument.
Each piece was more impressive than the last.

And just when we thought we couldn't be any more impressed we happened upon this....
Oh my word!
There are no words to adequately express what it was like to see this one. It was simply amazing!
Eight builders. 1700 hours. Well done, team!

If you are local you have until November 2nd to see the pieces. Where they go from here I'm really not sure as I couldn't find a schedule online. What a treat to have this incredible roadshow right here in our own backyard! We've been looking forward to taking the girls to DC to see the monuments for quite some time now, and while this was a lovely introduction for them, getting them there to see the real things soon is definitely even higher on our list now! xo

  1. Those are amazing!! I have a massive Lego fan in my house as well and I know she would love to see this. I hope the tour intends to come to one of our local malls. I still need to get her to the Legoland in Boston too!

    1. If for some reason you decided to drive on down to see the roadshow let me know and we'll surely meet up with you! Legoland in Boston is good though it is a hefty ticket price (and you don't get to take home what you build in the Master Builder Academy which is a total bummer)! We recommend coming down during the week to avoid the crowds! :) xo
