Latitude And Longitude

Latitude and longitude for Grace's morning lesson yesterday. What a fun way to finish up her mapping block before moving on to Norse myths. I found this great activity on TeachersPayTeachers and had to get it because gnomes. The activity is great, but we clearly need a different atlas! xo

  1. HI Shel,
Just a quick question. Are you still using Oak meadow with Grace?

    1. Hi Rosemarie, No, we haven't in a few years as it was just moving way more quickly than we liked. We may go back to it for high school though! Are you using it with your bunch?! xo

    2. No - we don't use a particular curriculum. Bits and pieces from all over. I just was curious.

  2. I love Teacherspayteachers! This gnome activity looks great (love how the gnome says "eh". Funnily enough, my husband's big boss is Canadian and we all get a kick out of how much he says "eh" in regular conversation.)

    1. TeachersPayTeachers really is the best! I so wish this existed when I was a classroom teacher too! Such good stuff on there!

And yes, I love that the gnome said "eh" too! So very Canadian of him! xo
