Today is one of our favorite "holidays" to celebrate: Free Cone Day! Each year Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops give away free cones all day long. And each year a local organization partners with them to help scoop and raise money through donations for the work that that particular organization does (this year the donations went to A Place to Turn). We arrived a little before Noon (ah, the joys of this lifestyle that we live! ). There was a wee bit of a line but it was only a few minutes before we were inside enjoying some ice cream! Emma chose Cherry Garcia, Grace chose Phish Food and I went with Cookies and Milk. All deliciously yummy and the perfect before lunch snack! As the girls were eating and I was taking pictures of this fabulous holiday Emma said to Grace: "Wanna try some of mine and I can try some of yours?" Without any hesitation Grace said "yes!" and this beautiful moment was captured! And on that note we wish you all a very Happy Free Cone Day! Leave no hand unconed! xo

ReplyDeleteHave you done the tour at the factory yet? We did a few years ago (though the day we were there was a day the factory doesn't work so we didn't get to see it happen). It was still really neat though and the free sample at the end was fab too!
