Lights For Liberty: Framingham

Last night we attended the Lights for Liberty vigil in Framingham. It was a gorgeous night and a beautifully put together protest/vigil. Here the girls hold signs that one of the women from our incredible faith community made.
On the steps at City Hall waiting for the event to begin.
Framingham's Mayor Spicer gives a speech.

"Let's be clear. there is no crisis of immigration in our country, there is a crisis of compassion in our government!"  -Plymouth Church's own Rev. Gregory Morisse
Beginning the candle lit portion of the evening.
It was an incredibly moving experience and I am so glad that we were able to be there with so many from our church, and so many more from Framingham and the surrounding towns. Events like this give us all hope that there is still goodness and kindness in our country, even though it feels more rare than ever these days. xo
