The Kitchen Tree

As the girls decorated the kitchen tree, they both shared how much they love having a tree in the kitchen and having a place to display all the ornaments that they have made at nature school over the years. I couldn't agree more and am so glad that we won that first tree twelve years ago!  xo

{This Moment} Watching The Birds

{This Moment} A Friday ritual. A single photo -no words- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you are inspired to do the same leave a link to your moment in the comments section below! Wishing each of you a lovely first weekend of 2018! Stay warm! xo

In The Kitchen

About five years ago we won this tree at our town's Festival of Trees. We were floored to get the call that we had won a tree (and all it's trimmings) and began to wonder where we should put it. This spot in the kitchen won out and ever since it's been the perfect tree to house all the ornaments and crafts that the girls make at church or the library or Girl Scouts. xo
