Lego Club At The Library

Today was the monthly gathering of the Lego Club at the Library.  The girls look forward to this each and every month and often say that they wish it was every week!  Each month there is a different theme for the creations that the children make. This month the children could either choose a theme from the cup or create something of their own choosing. Both girls chose to choose from the cup.  Grace drew a castle and Emma a gymnasium.

Thursday Fun

For the last few weeks, Grace has been participating in a Lego Club for homeschoolers/unschoolers. It's held at Harmony Woods Farm in Middleboro (which is a truly magical, delightful place)!  The mamas get to chat, the kids get to play and build and connect. It's an amazing time and one of the highlights of our week!  

Lego Club

Once a month Grace attends Lego Club at the library.   She absolutely loves Lego Club and looks forward to it each month (and starts asking when the next meeting is almost as soon as we get in the car to head home).  Usually on Lego Club day it's just Grace and I since Emma has Crickets.  She was with us today due to Dave teaching a Tuesday morning class at Northeastern University this semester and me having no way to pick her up and have Grace attend Lego Club.  Since it's only once a month, and something that Grace adores, we decided to have Em skip Crickets today so that Grace did not miss out.  With any luck, we'll have a new plan hatched for next month so neither girl needs to miss out on something they love.

Meanwhile...

As Em and I were finishing our coloring, Grace came to get us to let us know that she was done with her creation (today's Lego Club theme:  How high can you build it?) and that we should come see it.  We went to check it her latest masterpiece.
