A Bloomingly Beautiful Mother's Day

We went to the Arnold Arboretum for Lilac Sunday today!  It was the first time we had been to the Arboretum, and as soon as we walked through the gate Dave and I began to wonder why we had never been before.  Add into the fact that I lived in Belmont and he lived in Brighton before we got married and it makes it even crazier to know that we lived so close to such a beautiful space and had never visited.  It was truly a magical place and the perfect way to spend Mother's Day!  Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas! I hope your day was full of ordinary miracles and sweet moments spent with those who bring you joy!

  1. This was my wish for today, but 2 kids are sick, so we stayed home. I have never been there either, and I grew up in Needham. But, we had a lovely day just the same, and will save that for another day.
    Happy Mothers Day, Shel!

  2. Oh gosh, how cool would that have been if you were there too?! We should meet up there sometime. Such a lovely, magical place! Glad to know I am not the only one that has lived so close and had not been. Hope that everyone feels better soon! Happy Mother's Day, Jean!
