Spring On The Inside

Thank you, Water Fresh Farm, for a bit of (hydroponically grown) green and warmth this cold and rainy last day of March!

  2. It really is and they surely do! Though I'm happy to know I have a direct line to the source for all my chocolate needs! :)

  4. This is so cool! When I saw your post on IG I searched to see if there was anything like it in CT. While there is, they don't seem to be open to the public. Was this a field trip or do they allow customers into their greenhouses? Grace is taking an aquaponics class and I would love to bring her here! Maybe when it gets a bit warmer so we can try out the ice cream!

    1. Jess, it is so cool! Ya'll must come check it out! It's inside a local farm stand (for lack of a better term). Basically it's like a very small version of Stew Leonards (it's one building). They have all sorts of food in there and you can go in and sit in the greenhouse and soak in all the warmth and lovely plants. I would wager a guess that if you called and arranged it they would do a bit of a behind the scenes kind of thing for you (though don't hold me to that). The ice cream is a recent addition and the girls and I are looking to head over for some too when the weather finally warms up!
