    1. I wish that was our sugar house! Nope, we're not making it but we have friends who are! This sugar house is actually at one of the local middle schools (amazing, right?!) and we went to check out the Maple Syrup event that they held last weekend! Such a beautiful evaporator!

  7. Mmmm... maple syrup... I can't wait for this season's brew. We have been out of the golden marvel for a couple of weeks now. We go through 2 gallon a year (I sweeten everything with it!).

This is our moment this week... someone broke into our closet!

    1. It seems that this seasons harvest is very bountiful! We have friends who built there own evaporator this year and it's got us thinking we may need to tap our trees next year and join them when they boil! Two gallons a year is great! Do you tap your trees?

    1. We were blown away that the sugar house is at one of the local middle schools too! What a neat experience for the students! It made us wonder if each class gets to spend some time in the sugar house or if you have to take a course in maple syrup making to do so! It was mostly warm with a hint of sweetness in the air of the sugar house! It's definitely an amazing experience!
