Fence Restoration

There is so much goodness from this weekend that I can't wait to share with all of you (perhaps tomorrow) but today we're most excited to announce that the entire front portion of the fence is finished! Dave has worked so very hard to restore this fence and it looks simply wonderful (even better than when we bought the house if I do say so)! Our sweet old farmhouse seems to be standing just a little taller today with the second piece of fence completed. The side portions (and a gate) will have to wait 'til spring at this point, for now though we're just thrilled to have this stage of the project completed! xo

  1. You live in such a beautiful house! I can't wait to see it at solstice time. :) The fence of course seals the deal. Can't have a New England home without a white picket fence.

    1. Thanks, KC! It really is such a sweet place we get to call home, and truly the addition of snow just makes it even more magical and lovely! The white picket fence just adds to the charm, though the painting of it does leave something to be desired! :) xo

    1. Thanks, Patricia! It's taken him hours! And the girls and I still have a section of fence in the backyard to finish painting! So far we've logged 24 hours painting the parts of the fence that we got done, we've still probably got another 12 hours to go. With any luck by the time next spring that Dave's done with the two remaining sections and the gate we'll be done painting the backyard fence! xo
