On The Ninth Day Of Christmas

On Friday- the ninth day of Christmas- Dave's parents came up for a weekend visit. After dinner that night we headed to the La Salette shrine in Attleboro to see the the Christmas lights they have on display. In all the years that Dave and I have lived up here we had never been (though we have no idea why not). We'd heard that there were over 300,000 lights on display and just had to behold this for ourselves. As we got closer to the shrine we couldn't believe our eyes! It was truly gorgeous! Sadly the pictures that I took of the lights just wouldn't have done the display justice. As there were only a few days left of this year's light display the crowds weren't bad at all. It was definitely the perfect time to go. We all had such a lovely time that I'm sure we'll be going back to see the lights for years to come. xo
