A Lovely Gift

A couple of weeks ago a letter from my dear friend Patricia arrived in the mail. I absolutely love getting mail (especially when it's fun mail from friends) and was super excited to have received yet another piece of mail from Patricia. I immediately opened it, removed the contents of the envelope, and then, unfortunately, got pulled away before I had a chance to read it. Oddly enough this happened every time I sat down to read the note and explore the little gift she had enclosed. Yesterday, while everyone was outside, I sat down with the note and gift, determined to finally read it. The note was wrapped around this little envelope and inside the envelope was a stack of cards with words of wisdom on them. As I flipped through each one I couldn't help but feel that this sweet set was made just for me. Each piece of wisdom was absolutely perfect and resonated so very deeply with me. I sat there in awe, completely honored (and rather choked up) to have been given such a lovely gift.
Thank you, Patricia, for thinking of me and sending this lovely set of cards my way. I shall cherish them for years to come, and will think of you (and how grateful and blessed I am to have a friend like you) each time I see them. My apologies for not having a chance to read your letter and open this very sweet gift sooner (though I have a feeling that the timing of it all was absolutely perfect). xo

  1. I am so glad you like them! I thought they were really sweet and it was fun to make and put together. I'm not very crafty, so I was pleased this craft was just cutting and folding! :) Do check out the website on the cards when you can- there are a lot of fun things for children on there!

I explored that website a bit but definitely need to head back again as there is just so much to see (and so very many things I cannot wait to make)! xo
