On Saturday, after I stopped by kick-off for Fitness Asylum's spring body challenge, we began our journey to Virginia! It was the first time that we would be going away during (public) school vacation week, and the four of us were super excited. We had just wrapped up our second year of studying colonial life and the American Revolution and we couldn't think of a better/more fitting trip to do than to head to Williamsburg. The only downside to our trip (other than a twelve hour car ride) was that we got a much later start to our adventure than we had planned to due to Dave's car dying (which threw off our pre-trip errand running). Once kick-off was done, and the cat was dropped off, we were good to go. The weather was gorgeous, the iTunes were cranked and we had a blast chatting, singing, and watching the scenery as we journeyed from one Revolutionary area to another! xo
